Fit is the most important element of style— if there’s any uncertainty on the details below, or if it’s simply more convenient to ask, message us at help@hencroft.com.

BETTER (FIT) THAN AVERAGE

To emphasize strength in the upper body and slimness at the waist, our jackets differ from mainstream brands in several important ways:

1. MODEST CHEST EASE

Slightly more room in the chest than a Trim Fit— enough for a sweater and to suggest a well-built chest.

2. HIGH ARMHOLES, SLIMMER SLEEVES

The armholes are cut higher and smaller for a clean, modern line. No excess leather sags off the sleeves.

3. WAIST SUPPRESSION

Cut close at the waist, the jacket tapers for a slimming silhouette. There is no excess room near the waist.

INTERACTIVE SIZE GUIDE

Created after months of testing on actual customers, our guide uses your most four important measurements to pick the right size for you.

HOW TO TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS

CHEST

With arms at your side, measure the circumference of your chest at its widest point. This is usually over the nipple and across the shoulder blades.

WAIST

Measure circumference of your waist at its smallest point. This is usually slightly below your lowest rib.

SHOULDER

Measure across from one edge to the other, with the measuring tape flat across your back.

The edge is usually the furthest point of your shoulder bone.

SELECT YOUR CHEST SIZE

Measure your chest circumference at your widest point, then round down to the nearest inch.

THE FINAL WORD ON FIT

As with all leather garments, our jackets require 1 to 2 months to break-in. However, signs of a good fit should be immediate. Shipped with each jacket is a pocket that indicates how the jacket should look on you.

Ultimately, the final word on fit belongs to you— if you’ve any thoughts or questions, please contact us for a refund, exchange or advice at help@hencroft.com.
